POSITION SUMMARY:
We seek a teacher for third-grade students. You will teach Reading, ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies. You must use modern teaching approaches. If needed report directly to the Principal.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach students through varied methods. Use lectures, videos, and hands-on activities in your classes.
- Give homework and provide feedback. Test students regularly. Track and share progress with parents. Keep order in your classroom. Watch students in halls, buses, lunchrooms, and restrooms.
- Create lesson plans that follow the curriculum and state rules.
- Meet with parents about student progress and behavior. Join staff meetings and training workshops.
- Handle additional tasks as needed for quality education.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- You need a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- We prefer one year of teaching experience.
- Your decisions will impact the whole school.
- You must have Georgia State Teaching Certification (T-4 to T-7).
- You will work in standard school settings.
The job requires standing and walking for seven hours daily. You’ll sit, stand, and occasionally bend. You might lift items under twenty pounds.
